Playing the

higher octave

In this lesson we will learn to play in the second octave, from d'' to c'''. This is quite easy, because you have just to move your thumb from the lower octave key to the thumb rest, the other keys are the same. The difficulty will be next playing between the octaves, when you have to move for instance from d'' to c''. But this we will practise one of the next lessons. Here are the fingerings of the second octave:
